Cochrane Lake Gas Co-op

Serving Alberta

History

Cochrane Lake Gas Co-op was incorporated in 1972 when our founding directors:
Garnet Ovans, Bert Powlesland, John Pawson & Don Edge had the desire to bring natural gas to the rural community at a reasonable cost.  In forming a “Co-op” the cost is shared by all of its members and also benefits all of its members.

Our franchise covers from the west of Ghost Lake to the forestry boundary on the west side of Cremona, west side of Carstairs, west side of Crossfield,  south to the northern side Cochrane town limits.

Cochrane Lake Gas Co-op has approximately 2300 members in it's franchise.
