Cochrane Lake Gas Co-op is a non-profit member owned cooperative. We are controlled by our members and managed by the elected Board of Directors.
Our gas prices come from Gas Alberta and are updated on a monthly basis. The monthly rate is affected directly by market forces, as the market increases or decreases, so does the cost of natural gas for the members within our franchise area. Learn more about FedGas.
Locally Owned & Operated
Cochrane Lake Gas Co-Op is a co-operative owned gas utility distributor locally owned and operated in central Alberta. Each gas distributor in Alberta gas a provincially-set franchise area.
Cochrane Lake Gas Co-op’s franchise area spans roughly 744 square miles – North from Ghost Lake, up through Waiparous to the Burnt Timber, Water Valley and Fallen Timber areas, and east from the Rocky Mountain Forest Reserve boundary to the Bethel area west of Carstairs, south through the Madden, Lochend and Bearspaw areas, down to the northern side of Cochrane’s town limits.
